關於我們

Shalini Mahtani is one of Hong Kong’s most authoritative and respected voices on social issues, particularly diversity and inclusion. She is the founder of The Zubin Foundation, a charity that sheds light on enduring barriers to fairness and opportunity in Hong Kong, and that designs solutions through policy rec-ommendations and interventions. The foundation is among the city’s most accomplished and recognised on issues related to ethnic minority welfare and patient welfare. In 2016, Shalini, together with The Harvard Global Health Institute, launched HospitalAdvi-sor, Hong Kong’s first and only independent platform that compares hospitals by quality of care — a key step towards creating a more transparent, accountable and patient-centred healthcare system. Shalini was also a founder of Community Business, the first organisation in Asia that brings together companies and their management around women, LGBT and disabilities at work.

In 2009, Shalini was honoured by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader, and a year prior she was awarded an MBE from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for her ser-vices in corporate social responsibility in Hong Kong. She was also recognised by the HKSAR Government for her contribution to issues related to ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. Shalini has authored research and opinion pieces on diversity and inclusion and is a fre-quent speaker on the topic. Among her many published reports was “Women on the Boards of the Hang Seng Index Companies”, upon which she successfully led the effort to have Hang Seng Index companies embrace and report on board diversity. She is also a co-host on both BBC World Service and RTHK Radio 3. Previously, Shalini worked as an accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining Banque Nationale de Paris as Assistant Vice President, Wealth Management. Shalini is from Hong Kong. She is a graduate of The London School of Economics with a degree in accounting and finance. She is married and has three children. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shalini_Mahtani https://www.linkedin.com/in/shalini-mahtani-33977/
