Ray is the CEO and co-founder of 9GAG (www.9gag.com), the leading social entertainment platform for humor content. 9GAG's mission is to make people happy and it is one of the best sources for fun and awesomeness on the internet. Started as a fun side project in 2008, 9GAG has since turned into one of the most popular websites around the world. It brings laughters and happiness to more than 80 million people every month. Ray is a graduate of the Faculty of Law in The University of Hong Kong, where he was the captain of the debate teams of the University and Ricci Hall. Before starting 9GAG with his four co-founders, Ray worked as an anchor in a television station and product manager at an online reading community. 9GAG is an alumnus of 500 Startups and Y Combinator, two of the best accelerators/incubators in Silicon Valley. In 2012, 9GAG raised US$2.8 million in funding from Freestyle Capital, True Ventures, First Round Capital, Greycroft Partners and other prestigious angel investors in the United States.
