About

Nigel Smith is the Managing Director of Colliers in Hong Kong. He is responsible for the daily operations, key strategic opportunities, driving client engagement and securing new business. He joined Colliers in 2015 and has since transformed the Hong Kong business into a dynamic and reputable organisation through a powerful combination of actionable research, innovative marketing and personalised service delivery. He is actively committed to diversity and inclusion, supporting company, chamber and community initiatives. He is a thought leader and mentor.

Prior to joining Colliers, he spent 11 years at JLL working in the Kowloon Office Leasing market, becoming one of the youngest proprietors of the JLW business before the merger with JLL. Following that Nigel joined CBRE where for 13 years he built a successful Landlord Representation business advising major mixed use and office projects such as TAIPEI 101, Shanghai Tower, Ping An IFC, ICC, China World, Lotte World Tower but to name a few.

Nigel is a Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and holds an MBA in real estate and construction from Reading University. He is active in the Hong Kong business community and sits on several committees and boards including the Hong Kong RICS Advisory Board, Canadian Chamber of Commerce Executive Board, Sensational Charity Foundation Board and the Women in Business Network Committee of the Australian Chamber of Commerce.

With over 30 years of experience building relationships in the region Nigel has a wide range of skills, working tirelessly to help individuals, teams and businesses to be successful.

Requirements

Cost per person is HK$150 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$250 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.

The experience may be rescheduled or hosted online with consideration of the social distancing restrictions due to COVID-19. And a new date and time will be communicated with the participants. Please also note that food & beverage will only be served if the restrictions allow. The arrangement will be confirmed closer to the event date.

All participants are required to complete a health declaration form before attending the event.

If you're joining as a donor, please note that donations are not refundable. If the event is rescheduled or hosted online and you can't make it, you reserve the right to choose another experience to attend within 6 months.
