About

Joyce Wang is an award-winning interior designer and the founder of Joyce Wang Studio, based in London and Hong Kong. Her studio specialises in luxury hospitality, wellness and residential interior design with a portfolio of projects across the globe, from London, New York and Melbourne to Tokyo, Bangkok and Hong Kong.

Wang’s architectural approach to design and love of materials is rooted in her degrees in Architecture and Materials Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Later, she received her Masters at the Royal College of Art in London where interdisciplinary collaborations were to influence her work to come. Her many prestigious industry awards include Hospitality Design magazine’s coveted Designer of the Year Award 2020, Design Anthology’s inaugural Vanguard award in 2019 and Joyce Wang Studio was included in the top 400 in Dezeen’s Designer Hot List. Wang has spoken at international design platforms such as Maison & Objet, Business of Design Week and the World Interior Festival.

Notable projects include the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (Los Angeles), The Landmark Mandarin Oriental (Hong Kong), Mott 32 (Hong Kong, Singapore, Las Vegas and Vancouver), The Arts Club (London), K11 Artus Penthouse (Hong Kong), an immersive exhibition for Louis Vuitton at Art Basel Hong Kong and a large-scale renovation of The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.

Requirements

Cost per person is HK$50 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$100 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.

The experience may be rescheduled or hosted online with consideration of the social distancing restrictions due to COVID-19. A new date and time will be communicated with the participants.

Please also note that no food & beverage will be served. All participants for this event must either complete two doses of Covid-19 Vaccine before 28 October 2021, OR conduct Covid-19 Nucleic Acid Test (must be Nasal and Throat Swabs Test) and obtain a negative test result 4 November 2021 or after.

All participants are required to complete a health declaration form before attending the event.

If you're joining as a donor, please note that donations are not refundable. If the event is rescheduled or hosted online and you can't make it, you reserve the right to choose another experience to attend within 6 months.
