Meet Sammi (鄭秀文), one of the biggest Canto-pop stars and also an award-winning actress who had received around 200 awards from singing to acting.

About

Sammi Cheng is a Hong Kong singer and actress and is dubbed by the media as the "Cantopop Queen" and diva. She is one of the most prominent female singers in Hong Kong. She has produced over 60 albums, including studio albums and live concert albums, with album sales of over 25 million copies throughout the Asia-pacific. Sammi holds the record of having The Best Sales Local Female Vocalist awards for eight times since her debute in the Hong Kong Cantopop industry. Her popularity can be illustrated by her world concert tours that had held over 200 concert performances. She had also won many top honours in various Chinese music awards held in Asia. Last year (2019), her single “We Grew This Way” (我們都是這樣長大的) had won 12 music awards including “The best song of the year radio station and digital platforms. In addition to her successful singing career, Sammi was nominated more than 10 times for Best Actress in Hong Kong Film Award and Taiwan Golden Horse Awards since 2001. She won Best Actress from Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards in 2002 for her titular role in “Wu Yen” (鍾無艷). Requirements

All volunteer hours must be completed during February 2020 to Oct 2020.

Cost per person is HK$150 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$250 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.

Afternoon tea will be held at 2:45-5pm on a weekend in Oct/Nov 2020. Date TBC. It will be conducted in Cantonese.
