How Time Auction works

1. Earn Karma

Donating and logging past volunteer hours earns you Karma Points, which you can then use to bid on auctions. $1 donated earns 1 Karma Point and 1 hour volunteered earns 10 Karma Points.

2. Bid

Bid your Karma Points to meet inspiring people, such as humanitarians, entrepreneurs, athletes, or artists. Most auctions allow every bidder to win if the goal is reached.

3. Meet

Time Auction is all about priceless experiences and rewards for the priceless philanthropy you do. Depending on the auction, meetings are done virtually or in person... or both!

Meet Anthony Wong (黃秋生), Award-Winning Actor

Meet Anthony Wong (黃秋生), one of the most recognizable actors in Hong Kong and also the first Hong Kong actor to have won Best Actor awards in films, stage theatre and TV.


Anthony Wong Chau-sang won various prominent film awards such as Golden Horse Awards, Hong Kong Film Awards, Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards, TVB Anniversary Awards. At the age of 21, he joined ATV’s training program and after that continued his training at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. In 1993, he won a Hong Kong Film Award for his performance in “The Untold Story”. In the following years, Wong appeared in a wide range of genre films including “Rock n’ Roll Cop”, “Hard Boiled”, “The Heroic Trio”, “Infernal Affairs”, “The Mission” and “The Medallion”.

He is also internationally recognized for his roles. Wong had also appeared in a number of international English-language films including Hollywood film “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” and “Hard Boiled”. In 1995, Wong made his directorial debut with “The New Tenant”.

Having engaged in over 200 films and TV programs, Wong also participated in stage theater. In 2004, he adapted the French famous drama “Enigma Variations”. In 2015, he won TVB Anniversary Awards for Best Actor and Best Drama for Lord of Shanghai, marking his triumphant return to TVB. In 2019, Wong won the Best Actor Award in Hong Kong Film Awards and Golden Mulberry award for outstanding achievement in Far East Film Festival for the Hong Kong film “Still Human”.

All volunteer hours must be completed during 25 June to 25 November 2019.

Cost per person is HK$150 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$250 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.

Dinner will be held at 7:15pm-9:30pm at K11 ATELIER in Tsim Sha Tsui on 11 December 2019. It will be conducted in Cantonese.
