How Time Auction works

1. Earn Karma

Donating and logging past volunteer hours earns you Karma Points, which you can then use to bid on auctions. $1 donated earns 1 Karma Point and 1 hour volunteered earns 10 Karma Points.

2. Bid

Bid your Karma Points to meet inspiring people, such as humanitarians, entrepreneurs, athletes, or artists. Most auctions allow every bidder to win if the goal is reached.

3. Meet

Time Auction is all about priceless experiences and rewards for the priceless philanthropy you do. Depending on the auction, meetings are done virtually or in person... or both!

Meet Angel, the CEO of Citi HK & Macau who oversees all the businesses across the Citi franchise in the two markets.

Description

Angel Ng is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Citi Hong Kong and Macau. She was appointed to this position in May 2018 to oversee all the businesses across the Citi franchise in the two markets. The role entails working closely with Citi’s local, regional and global offices to execute the bank’s business strategy and maintaining strong relationships with clients, the public sector, regulators, governments, and across the Citi global organization.

Angel is a member of the Citi Asia Pacific Operating Committee. She is also the Chief Executive for Citibank, N.A. Hong Kong Branch, and Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited.

Prior to assuming the CEO role, Angel was the Chief Executive and Consumer Business Manager for Citi’s consumer banking operations in Hong Kong. In addition to the overall management of the consumer banking business and operations, Angel contributed significantly to driving the digital transformation and cultivating a culture of innovation in the consumer bank.

Angel joined Citi Hong Kong in 1998. She had previously served as the Head of Retail Banking, Wealth Management, and Cards. Prior to Citi, she held a number of senior roles at Procter & Gamble and CLP Power Hong Kong. She began her career with HSBC.

A strong advocate of work-life balance and diversity, Angel was the co-chairperson of the Citi Women’s Network Hong Kong for 2015-16. She is also a founding member of Women Chief Executives Hong Kong, an informal network that aspires to drive gender diversity and develop female talent in the industry.

Angel is currently a Financial & Treasury Services Committee Member of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce; General Committee Member of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries; Member of the Corporate Advisory Council of The Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute; Vice President, Council of The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, and Member of the Board of The Community Chest of Hong Kong.

Angel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Requirements

All volunteer hours must be completed during 1 December 2018 to 20 June 2019.

Cost per person is HK$100 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$200 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.

Lunch will be held at 12:15-2:30pm on 29 June 2019.
