What we need
- Provide support in developing our museum's website
- Automate email marketing through Wix
- Integrate our payment gateway with our eshop
- Help integrate existing museum tools to the new website
Background
We are launching a new website for the museum that is built on Wix. There are a few customizations that, while they may take a few lines of code, would make a significant improvement in our website. Wix's Corvid uses JS / Node, and some experience in frontend web development would be ideal
What we have
We will walk you through our vision for the website and provide as much guidance as you require. We will provide any resources, as needed.
Why this is important
In the age of COVID, a significant part of the museum's mission to educate Hong Kong about the seas must go online. We need an effective website (desktop and mobile) to do this. This is of paramount importance to the museum, and we are very grateful for any help that you can provide. Thank you!

What we do
The Hong Kong Maritime Museum is a vibrant, cultural institution dedicated to preserving, collecting and displaying objects that tell the story about trade and maritime in Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta. A non-profit registered charity founded in 2003 by members of the Hong Kong Shipowners Association, the Museum opened in September 2005 at Murray House in Stanley and relocated in 2013 to Pier 8, in the heart of the Central Harbour Waterfront. Today the Museum attracts 100,000 visitors annually where across 4,400 square metres more than 1,200 objects are displayed in 13 galleries on three levels. All of which uniquely overlooks a bustling Victoria Harbour.
