Help us to organise upcoming events!
Now that pandemic related policy is starting to relax in Hong Kong we are beginning to organise events more frequently. Due to us being a small team we need support to help organise events and coordinate with volunteers on the date of the event. We are looking for individuals who are willing to take on the role of leading small groups during events as well as provide valuable opinions on how our events are advertised.
We will have briefing sessions 2-3 days before each event with the volunteers to make sure they're clear with what needs to be done on their part. The volunteers will be working with the Green Hour team to prepare for events.
Green Hour aims to promote sustainable living in as many ways as possible. One of the best methods is to provide a space where people can first-hand experience the issues facing our city. This includes beach cleanups on a monthly basis, plogging events as well as our weekly 'Bun Run'Having more hands to provide support is something that we greatly need as we plan to expand and reach out to more people.

Established in 2018, Green Hour aims to promote a sustainable lifestyle through education, events and campaigning. Having already organised multiple beach cleanups, 'plogs' as well as Hong Kong's first 'Plastic Attack', Green Hour has begun establishing itself in the area. More recently, Green hour has started its Bun Run initiative, rescuing surplus food items from being sent to landfill and distributing them, as well as other essentials, to those in need in the community. To date, Green Hour supports roughly 100 individuals on a weekly basis, with plans to expand over the coming months.
