We need a DreamBacker to support students on their Dream Projects by listening to their presentation, provide advices and resources support
Project Details
What we need
- Meet up with students to listen to their Dream Project at least one time of a 1-hour call or meeting
- Attend 2 sessions of 1-hour pitching session to advise and comment on the Dream Projects to help the students to achieve their objectives
- Assist in providing or sourcing of resources to make the Dream Project success (in-house or outsource)
Background
DreamStarter is a community initiative that makes dream projects initiated by students come true, through raising awareness, mentoring, crowdfunding and crowdsourcing support. To introduce changes to the HK education system from academic focus to “Education with Propose”, the core elements of DreamStarter programs incorporated with Design Thinking, 21st Century Skills and United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals to help the students to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship and solving problems with creativity and resilience.

Why this is important
DreamBackers can support with material, knowledge and / or funding to foster children to pursue their dreams, to serve the community which aligned with United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The DreamBackers can also provide students with different perspectives and exposure to inspire and to guide them to learn to care for the society, try to use innovative thinking to solve problems, help others and bringing changes to the world.
