Kaspar founded Gender Empowerment in 2015 to support trans individuals at different stages of their gender transition. He has won the 2016 Hong Kong Transgender Inclusion Champion Award. The thesis of his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree focused on the coping experiences of parents during gender transition of their trans child. Since then he has participated in various regional and international conferences and meetings related to trans issues, such as the WPATH Symposium, the Asia Pacific Trans Health Blueprint meeting, “Being LGBT in Asia” regional dialogue organized by the United Nations and the AWID Forum 2024.
