What we need
  • Join us for a 30 minutes call to learn more about our organization and marketing plan for event
  • Outreach and invite reporters to join our press conference
  • Provide advice/support in engaging and pitching stories to media and journalists
  • Connection with media/reporters is preferred
Background

The mental health project for the deaf of the SLCO Community Resources, “Touch My Heart”, is a 2-year project which commenced in January 2021, and aims to develop a brand new “Sign Bilingual Mental Health Services Model” for Hong Kong. We are launching a new service protocol for psychological professionals to better serve deaf clients in Hong Kong. A prese conference will be held on 15-17 May 2023.

Why this is important

This event aims to educate mental health professionals on serving the deaf community by releasing the “Sign Bilingual Mental Health Services Model”. Public relations support can help raise awareness and media coverage of our event.

The vision of SLCO-CR is to promote sign bilingualism in communication, education and social inclusion; to create a diversified community without communication barrier.
