What we need

• Join us for a 30 minutes call to learn more about our organisation and the event details
• Date & Time: July 19 & 20, 2025, 10am - 10pm (Please join us for any two hours)
• Help with taking photos during the event, including group photos and event highlights
• Help with editing 30-50 photos
• We can provide a digital camera but it's not very professional - we highly recommend you to bring your own equipment
• We're hoping to find a photographer to engage for longer term if possible, but one-time volunteer is also welcome!

Background

We are a mental health charity dedicated to ensuring that no one faces a mental health problem alone. As part of our mission, we organise various internal and external events, including both fundraising and community outreach activities.To effectively showcase our work and the impact we have on individuals and the community, we need skilled photographers who can capture the essence of these events through strong, impactful photos. By creating this opportunity, we hope to collaborate with talented volunteers who share our passion for mental health and want to help us tell our story visually.

What we have

Branding guidelines and event rundown will be provided. To help our photographers get started, we have a strong communications team that will provide support throughout the process. This includes clear event briefings to ensure everyone is on the same page and understands our goals.

Why this is important

This photography project is essential for Mind HK as it will help us effectively communicate our mission and impact to the community. High-quality images of our events will not only showcase the work we do but also highlight the importance of mental health awareness and support.By visually documenting our activities, we can engage more supporters, attract potential donors, and foster partnerships that are crucial for our ongoing initiatives. These images will play a vital role in our outreach efforts, helping to reduce stigma around mental health and encouraging individuals to seek help. Ultimately, this project will enhance our ability to achieve our vision of ensuring that no one faces a mental health problem alone.
