Background
MakerBay Foundation is a 'young' NGO, with limited resources. Like many others, the pandemic has had a large impact on our activities thus pushing us to rethink the way we support ourselves. We currently do not have a stable fundraising base.

Why this is important
MakerBay provides maker education to youth. When joining MakerBay's programs, participants will learn skills that are a combination of technical (woodwork, textile, laser cutting, 3D printing…) and soft skills (problem solving, resilience, self confidence, collaboration...). Our goal is to empower youth to become creators of social and environmental change. We want to obtain funding for a continuous youth program, combining 3 parts: - workshops - maker visits - mentorship for impact
