Project Details

What we need
  • Review and outline gaps in our overall finance and accounting processes
  • Develop recommendations for the processes of our financial reporting, day to day financial routines, and budgeting based on multiple grants and sources of finance
  • Assist with budgets on upcoming events and projects, as well as final reporting
Background

Our registered charity non-profit organisation is dedicated to raising awareness of literacy and communication in Hong Kong. As a lean team with unpredictable funding, we seek a volunteer finance expert to help us establish robust financial processes and reporting systems. This project involves reviewing our current budgeting and financial routines, providing recommendations for improvements, and ensuring the accuracy of budgets for grants and events. Your expertise will strengthen our financial stability and directly support our mission.

What we have

Access to our online accounting software (after discussion) and details of our current financial procedures will be given. Quickbooks, Festival gmail account.

Why this is important
