Project Details

What we need
  • Join us for a 20-minute call to learn more about our organization and the event details
  • Help with taking photos during the event, including (eg. portraits, group photos, event highlights)
  • 30 - 40 final photos will be taken and to be edited by the volunteer
  • Volunteers with solid photo editing experience is highly preferred
  • Please bring your own camera and tripod. Please wear black T-shirt in our event
  • Half-day volunteers are also welcomed!
Background

Haw Par Music's annual open day is to be held in a very large-scale setting, with over 3000 people coming to our grade 1 historical site (as in our Open Day 2021). Our open day is themed with music, wellness, and community initiatives this year.

What we have

We will provide the program details and a brief introduction on the specific shots we would like to take.

Why this is important

This helps with our content creation, allowing us to showcase our impact within the community and document fond memories with the public.

What we do

Har Par Music is a centre for cross-cultural exchange through music, heritage and arts, with a social initiative. It aims to create a unique place where the heritage of the Haw Par Mansion integrates with vibrant and enriched music education and arts programmes for the Hong Kong community. It also serves to develop broader cultural understanding for the enrichment of life, future community and service leaders, and to enhance harmony through music. Our Mission Conservation of Haw Par Mansion: for maximum preservation of original structure and significant character defining elements, maintaining all of its historical and architectural significance as a heritage landmark for continued appreciation of the public and future generations Revitalisation as Haw Par Music: a centre for cross-cultural exchange through music, heritage and arts, with a social initiative; providing not only high quality education on Western and Chinese music, but also a nurturing environment for the next generation of arts practitioners and future cultural leaders
