What we need
- Date & Time: 16 August 2025 (Saturday) 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
- Welcome Individual / family volunteers to help us fundraising with flag selling 歡迎個人 / 親子義工協助賣旗籌款
- Participants aged below 14 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians 14歲以下人士須由家長或監護人陪同
- You are holders of Hong Kong Birth Certificate or Hong Kong Identity Card (Including the parents or guardians) 須持有香港出生證明書或香港身份證（包括其家長或監護人）
- You are permitted to participate in voluntary work in Hong Kong according to the Hong Kong Immigration Ordinance 根據香港入境條例獲准在香港參與義務工作
- After completion, each volunteer will receive a document folder, golden flag sticker and volunteer certificate 完成街上賣旗活動並到指定旗站交還旗袋後，賣旗義工均可獲贈文件袋乙個，金旗貼紙乙張及義工證書
Background
The funds raised from this event will provide vital support for women, men, and children affected by domestic violence. This includes funding for their daily needs, community education programs, and ensuring Harmony House can continue its diverse range of services for families impacted by domestic violence.此次活動籌集的善款將為一班遭受家庭暴力的婦女、男士及小朋友，籌集日後支援他們日常生活的經費 及 各項社區教育推廣的服務, 並保持和諧之家能持續提供多元的支援服務予受家暴影響的家庭。

We sincerely invite you to attend the online briefing session, where we will explain the flag-selling arrangements and the services of our organisation. 本會誠邀您參加線上簡介會。屆時我們會講解賣旗安排和本會的服務。
Why this is important
This is our first Flay Day in Hong Kong which supports our work for the next year. 這是我們在香港舉辦的首次旗日活動，旨在支持我們來年的工作。

Causes
What we do
Agency Introduction: The Harmony House was established in 1985 as the first shelter for abused women and their children in Hong Kong. Today, we have developed into a one-stop anti-domestic violence service agency, with a wide range of preventive, therapeutic and developmental programmes to help families affected by domestic violence. We also organise community education programmes, promote harmonious and healthy family relationships, provide training to multi-disciplinary professionals and advocate for policies and legislations on behalf of victims of violence, their families and communities. Mission: 1. To tackle the social problems of domestic violence using diverse approaches, and promote harmonious and healthy relationships in families with a comprehensive range of preventive and therapeutic services. 2. To contact and reach out to families in need through counselling and crisis intervention. 3. To change the misconcept and incorrect attitude towards domestic violence through community education, impart appropriate knowledge and skills handle domestic violence.
