Storybook Designer
Design storybooks for lower primary school non-Chinese students
Project Details
What we need
- Join us for a 1 hour online call to learn more about the programme and our expectations
- Design the storybooks in A5 size (folded, double-sided), 5 pages per book (stories and illustrations are readily available!)
- Volunteer is expected to complete total 18 storybooks, ideally 3 books per month
Background
These storybooks will benefit 60 lower primary non-Chinese students for the entire year as a part of our Chinese language programme, which is created to increase their confidence and competence in Cantonese through 1:1 teaching by passionate volunteers!

Why this is important
We provide language and multicultural education to draw our Chinese and non-Chinese neighbours together so CommUnity is a Reality. The storybooks created will be used as a part of our interactive and fun language programme to empower our non-Chinese neighbours on their journey to success!

We work with NGO and school partners to provide a professional and fun Chinese language programme to non-Chinese children and organise cultural programmes for relationships to be built between our Chinese volunteers and non-Chinese families.
