Seeking an event organiser to support the planning for our upcoming Lunch Fundraiser
Project Details
What we need
- Join a 30-min call to understand the mission and vision of A Little Bit Extra and what Down syndrome is
- Marketing and Outreach: Promote the event via social media, email, and community networks
- Donor Liaison: Contact businesses and individuals to secure lucky draw prizes
- Event Coordination: Assist with logistics, venue setup, and guest management
- Day-of Support: Help with registration, bag swap organization, and lucky draw execution on Friday June 20th, 12-6pm
Background
We are hosting an exciting lunch fundraiser for A Little Bit Extra and we’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our planning team. No prior experience is required—just a passion for our mission and a desire to create a fantastic event!

This project will be supported by one of our board directors who works for an international events agency
Why this is important
The money raised through this fundraiser will go towards A Little Bit Extra hiring a Genetic Counsellor. This professional will provide compassionate and informed support to expectant mothers who receive a Down syndrome diagnosis, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all families involved.
