Establised in 2015, Gender Empowerment is a boutique size self-financed NGO that offers direct services and assistance such as counselling, voice therapy and support group for the transgender community and their families in Hong Kong.
In this call, we'd like to explore collaboration opportunities and exchange ideas with social organizations to create an inclusive social environment for trans individuals to strive and thrive in social harmony.

Bio
Kaspar founded Gender Empowerment in 2015 to support trans individuals at different stages of their gender transition. He has won the 2016 Hong Kong Transgender Inclusion Champion Award. The thesis of his Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree focused on the coping experiences of parents during gender transition of their trans child. Since then he has participated in various regional and international conferences and meetings related to trans issues, such as the WPATH Symposium, the Asia Pacific Trans Health Blueprint meeting, “Being LGBT in Asia” regional dialogue organized by the United Nations and the AWID Forum 2024.
