Provide support to our Bun Run teams in collecting and distributing surplus bread
Each week, Green Hour runs its weekly food collection/distribution programme. The Bun Run aims to fight food waste and poverty through partnering with bakeries, restaurants and social welfare organisations to connect those in need with surplus food which would otherwise be sent directly to landfill.
Drivers will be reimbursed for any parking required during the event.
Green Hour hopes to reach more bakeries each week. Taking the closing times of the bakeries and distance between them into account, the event is quite time sensitive. Having help with transport will allow us to reach more places in one evening, making a bigger impact and helping more people.

Established in 2018, Green Hour aims to promote a sustainable lifestyle through education, events and campaigning. Having already organised multiple beach cleanups, 'plogs' as well as Hong Kong's first 'Plastic Attack', Green Hour has begun establishing itself in the area. More recently, Green hour has started its Bun Run initiative, rescuing surplus food items from being sent to landfill and distributing them, as well as other essentials, to those in need in the community. To date, Green Hour supports roughly 100 individuals on a weekly basis, with plans to expand over the coming months.
