Prepare a funding proposal for our resource distribution project to expand impact and promote intercultural education in Hong Kong
CantoGather’s CCC Programme has been running successfully for three years, helping lower-primary non-Chinese students gain confidence and competence in Cantonese. The programme creates supportive, small-group learning environments that are interactive and empowering.Building on this success, we aim to distribute CCC Programme resources to public users, such as NGOs, community centres, and churches. This initiative will increase access to effective educational tools, enhance intercultural education, and foster stronger community ties across Hong Kong.

CantoGather is a faith-affiliated, Christian-rooted organisation dedicated to loving our neighbours as ourselves. We empower Hong Kong’s multicultural community by bringing people together through language and intercultural education. In partnership with schools, we offer non-Chinese children professional, engaging Cantonese and Chinese language programmes to help them thrive in school and daily life. Beyond language learning, we foster genuine connections between Chinese volunteers and non-Chinese families, building bridges of understanding and friendship. Through creative workshops, storytelling, arts, and interactive activities, we provide welcoming spaces where children and families from all backgrounds can share, learn, and grow together. Our volunteers serve as tutors, mentors, and companions, supporting students individually or in small groups while nurturing confidence, cultural awareness, and a sense of belonging. With over 300,000 non-Chinese neighbours in Hong Kong—many of them young people—the need for support, inclusion, and opportunity is clear. By volunteering with us, you help break down barriers, encourage meaningful relationships, and make a lasting positive impact on our city’s future. Join us in building a loving, united CommUnity where everyone can thrive—let’s make CommUnity a reality together!
