• Join us for a 30-minute Zoom call to learn about the Body Language Dictionary project
• Conduct research to develop content for the Body Language Dictionary project (e.g. review articles and videos on body image topics to find new terms to add to the dictionary)
• With our templates, create 8 bilingual Instagram posts for the Body Language Dictionary every month (2 per week)
• Volunteers need to be able to read and write both Traditional Chinese and English

背景資料

The Body Language Dictionary is our bilingual dictionary of terms that are commonly used in conversations about food and the body (https://www.bodybanter.com/the-body-language-dictionary). We have currently developed 6 dictionary entries, and are looking for a volunteer to help expand on our array of entries. This volunteer position will involve:- Reviewing different types of content related to body image topics (e.g., academic articles, blog posts, YouTube videos) to find new terms to add to the dictionary. - Creating Instagram posts based on our existing template for Body Language Dictionary posts. A background of working/studying in the fields of psychology and/or linguistics, and proficiency in using Canva and Instagram are preferred.

Body Banter's goal is to empower people with the language and the confidence to speak up about body image topics. Helping us develop the Body Language Dictionary will provide young people in Hong Kong with new knowledge and words to participate confidently in conversations about body image.
