Meet Dee Dee, a philanthropist and impact investor who leads Park Lane Capital Holdings and Seal of Love, her family’s philanthropic foundation which supports many NGOs focused on education.

About

Ms. Dee Dee Chan is a managing director and Chief Investment Officer of Park Lane Capital Holdings, her family’s single family office based in Hong Kong. Park Lane Capital Holdings invests across the spectrum of private and public capital markets in order to deliver sustainable returns for philanthropic projects. She is also a Director of the Seal of Love Charitable Foundation, which was founded by her family in 2009 as a platform to help relieve pain and suffering and provide education to break the poverty cycle in the Asian region. One of Dee Dee's passions is to work with the next generation of philanthropists through activities such as organizing on the ground vision trips where next gen participants can connect personally with target groups and beneficiaries of charitable programs. The goal is for these budding philanthropists to ignite their own charitable projects as a result of these trips.

Dee Dee was previously a financial analyst with J.P. Morgan Chase in New York City before joining BNP Paribas as a vice president in the Structured Equity Derivatives department. In 2010, Dee Dee left the banking industry to pursue her interest in education and has served as a classroom teacher in various establishments including the International Christian School (ICS) in Hong Kong and l’Ecole Andre Hoareau in Reunion Island, France. Ms. Chan graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a double honours degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and French and completed her Master of Education with honours in 2014 from the University of Hong Kong.
