Pocket Sun founded SoGal with a mission to redefine the next generation of diverse entrepreneurs and investors. She is Managing Partner at SoGal Ventures, the world’s first female-led next generation venture capital firm investing in diverse entrepreneurs. She is also Co-President at SoGal Foundation, a nonprofit with the largest global platform that provides access, education, and community to women and minority founders in nearly 50 cities around the world. Her mission has expanded to help women crack social constructs and create their own future. Shortly after receiving her Master’s Degree from the University of Southern California in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Pocket became one of the youngest persons ever to be on the cover of Forbes Magazine at the age of 24. As a disruptor in venture capital and advocate for diversity, she is frequently invited to speak to organizations such as P&G, PwC, Coca Cola, Credit Suisse, Accenture, and at top conferences including Microsoft CEO Summit, Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit, and TEDx.
