Meet Carlson Tong who leads the SFC to regulate Hong Kong's securities and futures markets.

About

After graduating from St Paul's Co-educational College in Hong Kong in 1971, Mr Carlson Tong furthered his studies in the United Kingdom and then qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In 1979, he joined KPMG in Cardiff, UK and returned to Hong Kong in 1985. He became a local partner of the firm in 1989 and elected Chairman of KPMG China and Hong Kong in 2007, and became Asia Pacific Chairman and a member of the global board in 2009. Mr Tong retired in 2011 after serving his firm for over 30 years, and has since become increasingly active in contributing his expertise to community services. Cost per person is HK$100 (Full-time students aged 25 or below)/ HK$200 (General Participants) to support the running costs of our charity and our mission to make volunteerism mainstream.
