About

Jason is the Program Manager at the Resource Mobilization Division of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Switzerland. During his development in the organization, Jason had worked in Palestine, Afghanistan and Myanmar under the capacity of an ICRC Delegate. His role was to develop and implement the organization’s humanitarian intervention in the battlefield, with activities ranging from visiting detention centers to conducting emergency response. Jason has extensive experience in security analysis and building dialogues with non-state military groups. Jason earned his master’s degree in International Relations from Waseda University in Japan and BBA from the University of Hong Kong. He started his career as an analyst in Goldman Sachs. Jason is a sport lover with strong passion for playing volleyball and trekking.

About ICRC Established in 1863, the ICRC operates worldwide, helping people affected by conflict and armed violence and promoting the laws that protect victims of war. An independent and neutral organization, its mandate stems essentially from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. The organization, awarded for 4 times for the Noble Peace Prize, are based in Geneva, Switzerland, and employ some 14,500 people in more than 80 countries. The ICRC is funded mainly by voluntary donations from governments and from national Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
