A Time Auction is quite simply an auction for great items, except instead of using money to bid, you use volunteering hours. You read correctly: no money, just time.
For example, you might bid 20 hours working for the local food bank in order to get a free iPod. If you win the bid, you then go complete your hours – we will give you the item when you’re done! Since time is your currency, you are as rich as the next person, and stand a fair chance at winning any item up for bid.
